  * My configuration style aims to be human-readable, reproducible across different environments, modular, and with as-few changes from upstream as possible
  * I want others to be able to understand my notes, expand and share them, and to encourage less people to use and recommend solutions shrouded in obfuscation ((notably with Lutris and random Wine runners that nobody reads, 2000-line Windows debloat scripts, server emulator pre-compiled repacks, and even containers and VMs; I do everything bare-metal and by-hand, I like knowing what stuff does, and I like it happening as-optimally and securely as possible :p))
