Reset

SMC

  • Control + Option + Shift

NVRAM

  • Command + Option + P + R

Online Recovery

Boot

  • Command + Option + R (release P after NVRAM reset restart)

Connection Fix

  • Select Language
  • Utilities → Terminal → sntp -S -S time.apple.com
  • Exit Terminal → Reinstall macOS → Continue
  • Recovery server could not be contacted (leave notification open) → Window → Install Log → Search failed to loadswscan.apple.com URL
  • Select log (only one) → Edit → Copy
  • Ok “not contactable” notification → Utilities → Terminal
  • Edit → Paste
