Jagex Launcher AIO

  • Contains notes for native Linux RuneLite and RS3 NXT clients to run through wine-handled Jagex Launcher via symlinks

Old School RuneScape

  • Runs Jagex Launcher and the new C++ client through Wine, surprisingly well!

Legacy

  • Uses traditional RuneScape-specific username/email/password account log-in
  • :!: Does not support Jagex Accounts and may be deprecated in the future

Jagex Launcher

  • !:! The Java client isn't offered as an option from the Jagex Launcher unless you had a previous install of it prior to the new C++ client option
  • The notes should work and Jagex claims to continue supporting the Java client, but you have to supply your own Jagex Launcher back-up for this configuration and I have no way of testing this as of 2023/07/23

RuneScape

  • Allows sign-in with Google, Facebook, and Apple, but these log-ins are untested
  • Allows traditional RuneScape-specific username/email/password account log-in
  • :!: Does not support Jagex Accounts and may be deprecated in the future
