Information

Since late 2023, the Battle.net client has been incompatible with Wine due to a Chromium component update

All versions of WoW can be logged into with email/pass by directly-launching WoW (not its Launcher)
Battle.net client can be used without logging in, and old game data can be restored and data scanned for in Settings
Close the window for scanning for games first-start, and then access Battle.net client settings from the Wine system tray right-click
For games with updates, right-click the Battle.net client Wine tray icon and Resume updates (GNOME likely needs legacy tray support disabled)
Can possibly install games fresh with Battle.net client launcher flags

Diablo III can use email/pass log-in
StarCraft II was known to be able to do email/pass log-in
Diablo II Resurrected worked one time with -user -pass flags

Test

Last tested: 2024/06/16, Wine Staging 9.5, Fedora 40 (still had numerous errors at log-in)
