  • This assumes a 16:10 LCD monitor is being used that has a preferred resolution that has both the horizontal and vertical sizes larger than 1280 and in the instructions below, specifically 1680×1050
  • AMD CCC → Enable GPU Scaling
  • AMD CCC → Scaling Mode: Center
  • CRU → Established resolutions → Only leave 60Hz refresh rates enabled and uncheck everything else
  • CRU → Detailed resolutions → Delete all
  • CRU → Detailed resolutions → Add 1680×1050 and 1280×720 in that order as Automatic - LCD native (TODO: add 1360×768 for pop'n)
  • CRU → Standard resolutions → Delete all and leave it entirely empty

CRT

  • This assumes a 4:3 CRT monitor is being used that has a preferred resolution that has both the horizontal and vertical sizes larger than 1280 and in the instructions below, specifically 1920×1440
  • This requires very specific instructions to get right…
  • AMD CCC → Enable GPU Scaling
  • AMD CCC → Scaling Mode: Center
  • CRU → Established resolutions → Only leave 60Hz refresh rates enabled and uncheck everything else
  • CRU → Detailed resolutions → Delete all
  • CRU → Detailed resolutions → Add 1920×1440, 1280×720, and 720×1280 in that order as Automatic - CRT standard
  • CRU → Standard resolutions → Delete all and leave it entirely empty

Account

Card ID

  • Place cards somewhere consistent
  • Card IDs are generated with the kawashi link above
  • Go into Config.exe, select the card, and enable the Generate Card ID option

Network

  • Create account
  • Generate PCBID

Game

  • Edit \prop\ea3-config.xml and change <pcbid> to the PCBID created above and <services __type=“str”> to the network's address
  • Start game, enter Service Mode and change to Event Mode
  • Press + on the Numpad
  • Press Start on the first option and then yes, enter pin with Numpad
  • Enter display name on next screen
